Botanical Garden in Prague is located at the northwest side of Prague next to famous Prague ZOO, beautiful Troja Chateau,, which can be combined with visit of botanical garden very easily.

OPTION 1: SUBTROPIC PROGRAM

Subtropical program focuses on plants of subtropics and tropics. It emphasizes what parts of plants are used, and also mentions their distribution and ecological relationships. Visitors will see plants they use in everyday life and find out how to reveal them in daily used food products. The program also calls for reflection on growing tropical plants and environmental protection.

OPTION 2: CONIFER PROGRAM

The program will introduce our and exotic conifers and other gymnosperms (eg Ginkgo). Program will present their construction, reproduction and way of life, as well as practical use and many interesting facts. Visitors will learn about several “living fossils” and try to identify selected conifers according to typical features. The program also describes the relationships of gymnosperms to other organisms and touches topic of ecology in sense of importance of these types of plants for our planet and life.
